As you've no doubt noticed by now, my name is John Porter. I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Washington double majoring in Materials Science & Engineering and Technical Communication. While most of my time is firmly occupied by school-related stuff, I try to chill sufficiently so as to prevent the onset of insanity -- I was pretty close there back in my freshman year.
I'm a proud and self-proclaimed geek, and cruise the net far more than I should. When time permits, I try to indulge my inner gamer. Right now, my gaming interest is divided between WoW, Kingdom of Loathing, and Twilight Heroes. Being a huge cinemaphile, I consider it my goal...no...my duty to watch every single movie ever made. I have a ways to go.
